One-to-one birth support

You deserve to be supported through birth.

Her First Meal offers doula care as a separate, personal service. We begin with a conversation about your needs, your birth preferences, and whether our support is the right fit.

What is a doula?

A doula is a non-medical support person who offers steady emotional, practical, and physical comfort through pregnancy and birth. A doula can help you prepare questions, explore comfort options, and feel heard alongside your chosen care team. Your doctor or midwife remains responsible for medical care.

Care centered on you

  • A conversation about your hopes and questions for birth
  • Calm, continuous support and comfort during labor
  • Space for your partner or support people to feel included
  • A person who listens as you make your own choices
